It has been a season of significant growth, remarkable achievements, and deeply meaningful moments that have further defined our commitment to excellence at Peabody Place. From advancing our team’s skills to receiving prestigious awards and supporting our community, we’ve continued to raise the bar in senior living.
Investing in Our Amazing Team
We believe that exceptional care starts with an exceptionally skilled team. That’s why we’re thrilled to celebrate the dedication of our staff members who have furthered their education and expertise:
- LNA Graduates! A huge round of applause to our dedicated staff members who graduated with their Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification through our fantastic partnership with LNA Health Careers. Their commitment to providing top-notch care is truly inspiring.
- MNA Graduates! We also celebrate the achievements of our staff members who graduated with their Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) certification, also through our valuable partnership with LNA Health Careers. This advancement allows them to provide even more comprehensive support to our residents.
But the learning didn’t stop there! We are incredibly proud to announce that our Clinical and Wellness Director and our Life Enrichment Director both obtained their Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT). This specialized training not only ensures we provide the highest standard of compassionate and effective care for residents living with dementia, but also provides our staff with an opportunity to be trained by either of these women and become Certified Dementia Care Practitioners (CDP).
Strengthening Our Foundations
This year, we’ve also focused on strengthening the operational heart of Peabody Place:
- Agency-Free and Thriving! We are delighted to announce that Peabody Place is agency-free! This significant achievement speaks volumes about the strength, dedication, and comprehensive staffing of our internal team.
- Deficiency-Free State Survey! We are incredibly proud to report that our annual state survey with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) was completed, and we are deficiency-free! This outstanding result is a testament to our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care, safety, and resident well-being.
Community and Compassion in Action
Beyond our walls, Peabody Place extended a helping hand to our wider community:
- Supporting Our Neighbors in Need: In the senior living industry, emergency preparedness is often discussed in terms of drills and protocols. This year, we had the unique opportunity to practice the “other side” of disaster relief. When a fellow assisted living facility faced a crisis, Peabody Place stepped up without hesitation to house 10 of their residents.
This experience allowed us to put our emergency systems into real-world practice with great success. By integrating these residents into our community, we proved that being “prepared” means more than just having a plan—it means having the heart and the resources to support our fellow care providers and seniors when they need it most.
