Our endowment represents the roots of Peabody Place. Simply put, having the endowment offers stability and security to our residential community. We are able to consider doing projects or paying for emergencies that we would not be able to consider otherwise. Donations and planned giving are always welcome.
Because of the generous donations through our annual fundraising appeal. Past projects included purchase of medical equipment, equipment, former Peabody Home renovations, and outdoor living furniture.
Each annual appeal is based on projects that will either improve the quality of life for our community members and/or assist our staff in providing the highest quality, 24-hour care.
We created an activity fund to finance and organize the activities that community members request that aren’t in the operating budget. Expenditures from this fund are decided by the community members and the Director of Activities.
Our staff members are not allowed to accept tips or gifts from residents or their families. However, residents often feel grateful for the care and courtesy provided at Peabody Place. This fund is an option for them to show appreciation directly to the Peabody team. Expenditures from this fund are then decided by a committee of employees.
