Franklin, N.H. (July 12, 2023) – As Peabody Place, a retirement community in Franklin, N.H., enters a new phase of growth and expanded services for its residents, it is welcoming Judy Franseen as the new director of admissions and marketing. With decades of experience in senior living and care, Franseen will help expand and attract new residents to the brand new center, which replaced an 80-year-old facility and has more than doubled its capacity.
“Judy has a great depth of knowledge and experience in promoting the advantages and services of senior living communities to families and individuals and will be a tremendous asset to help us grow our retirement community,” said Lynda Goldthwaite, Peabody Place executive director. “This will help us expand upon our rich 80-year history and continue to welcome new residents after unveiling our modern makeover and expansion. The timing is perfect to have Judy join our team and help us enter a new phase at Peabody Place.”
Franseen has more than 25 years of marketing, communications and admissions experience at senior living facilities throughout New Hampshire. Most recently, she served as the vice president of sales and marketing in Nashua. Prior to that she held similar roles in Keene, Nashua and in Peterborough. As a resident of Laconia, she is very familiar with the community and enjoys kayaking, swimming, hiking and snowshoeing.
Peabody Place recently completed a three-year reconstruction process. The new 63,632 square-foot Peabody Place is more than double its original capacity and includes 45 assisted living apartments, 13 memory care apartments and 16 independent living apartments. Peabody Place is pet-welcoming and features well-appointed apartments in all areas, with private bathrooms, oversized windows and unique views of the Winnipesauke River. Amenities include common space for gathering on all floors, a 24-hour emergency response system, memory care services, personal transportation services, an exercise and wellness room and easy access to downtown Franklin.
